Townhouse Fire Damages Lorton Home; Everyone Escapes Safely

LORTON, VA — A townhouse fire Saturday afternoon damaged a middle-row home in the Lorton area, but no injuries were reported, according to Fairfax County Fire and Rescue.

Firefighters responded to the 9100 block of Point Replete Drive, where crews arrived to find flames showing from the rear of a middle-row townhouse that had spread into the roofline, the department said in a post on X shortly before 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

All occupants had safely evacuated the home before firefighters arrived, according to Fairfax County Fire and Rescue.

No civilians or firefighters were injured. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
