• From prison to art center: A new exhibit at Virginia's Workhouse Art Center shows the power of change (wtop.com) — Lorton residents can now visit a powerful new "Transformations" photo exhibit at the Workhouse Arts Center, housed in the former Lorton prison complex. The show documents a late-1980s substance abuse program that helped D.C. inmates rebuild their lives, pairing stark black-and-white portraits with deeply personal stories of recovery, growth, and second chances. It runs through November 7.
