Auto Theft in Lorton Area: Police Seek Help Finding Suspects
Police say two men entered the garage of a residence and fled in the vehicle.

Police are investigating an auto theft that took place Wednesday, Aug. 26, in the Lorton area, Fairfax County Police said Wednesday.

Around 5:30 a.m. on Aug. 26, two men entered the garage of a residence in the 7000 block of Stone Inlet Drive (see map below). The suspects located the keys to the victim’s 2014 Honda CRV in the garage and fled in the vehicle, according to police. The victim’s credit cards, which were inside the Honda, were used to make unauthorized purchases, police said.
