Drive Through Live Nativity

The Christmas season is a time for making memories and building traditions.

On December 13 & 14, Virginia Hills Baptist Church presents Follow the Star, an outdoor drive through Live Nativity.  From 6:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. on these two evenings, guests will present themselves to Roman Soldiers for census registration and drive through Judea gazing on Mary and Joseph making their journey to Bethlehem, shepherds keeping watch in the field, an Angel announcing Christ's birth and more.  The journey ends at the manger itself, where guests see the baby Jesus, Mary and Joseph surrounded by live animals, wise men and shepherds.

The live nativity features cast members in costumes, live animals, a children's choir and is narrated on a CD right from the comfort of your car.  We invite you to share in the joy and the true meaning of Christmas.  The drive through tour takes approximately 20 minutes.
