
This weekend, Amtrak's Exhibit Train, a unique traveling display showcasing memorabilia from Amtrak’s 40-year history will be in Lorton. The Exhibit Train is touring the country and stopping in Lorton, Va. this weekend. It is free and open to the public from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 14 and Sunday, May 15.
The Exhibit Train showcases Amtrak history over the decades, displaying memorabilia like vintage advertising, past menus and dinnerware, and period uniforms. The Exhibit Train will also feature train-themed kids’ activities at Chuggington Kids Depot, and feature characters from the popular train-based television series. In addition, commemorative 40th anniversary merchandise will be available for purchase onboard the train.
