Meet in the Old Colchester Rd. parking lot at 4:30 am to be shuttled to the original location of Pohick Church, 2 miles away. There, walkers will escort the flame taken from the National Cathedral to Pohick Church, arriving at 5:30am to light the Paschal Candle and join in a Sunrise, candle-lit service lasting about 1/2 hour.
Afterwards, traditional hot-cross buns and scones will be served for the first meal of Easter.
Worshipers may also come directly to the church at 5:30am to receive the flame.
