The Mason Neck Horse Coalition is sponsering for a seventh year a trail ride and mounted scavenger hunt. This year, the proceeds from the ride are to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Suggested minimum donation is $25.00 to participate; each rider will receive a participation ribbon.
Checkin at 10 a.m. Ride begins at 10:30 a.m. and riders will ride at their own pace in groups. The trail will cover Pohick Bay Regional Park, Meadowood Recreation Area, and Gunston Hall and will be marked. It will take about 2 hours (at a walk) and includes some rocky/muddy/hilly areas. The ride begins and ends at Pohick Bay Regional Park, and includes a mounted scavenger hunt with prizes!
