Meet our naturalist at Sandy Run Regional Park and help identify waterfowl, gulls, eagles, songbirds and many others that spend the colder months on the waters of the Occoquan. A few field guides and binoculars will be available, but feel free to bring your own. Sandy Run is a rowing facility not normally open to the public; the park is specifically used for crew team regattas and practices. This program will offer a unique opportunity for birding, don’t miss out! Meet in the first parking lot. Email Casey Pittrizzi (cpittrizzi@nvrpa.org) for reservations.
