
“I Love the 80’s” -- The West Potomac Choirs present their annual spring show with an exciting fully choreographed evening “bringing back the music of the 80’s on MTV!” This popular annual event is sure to be a crowd pleaser with over 150 singers, including students from Sandburg Middle School and the WP feeder elementary schools of Belle View, Bucknell, Fort Hunt, Groveton, Hollin Meadows, Stratford Landing, and Waynewood.
Tickets can be purchased at the door or in advance online at www.westpotomacchoirs.org for $10 student, $15 adult. Show times are Thursday, June 4, at 5 p.m.; Friday, June 5, at 7 p.m.; and Saturday, June 6, at 7 p.m., in Springbank Auditorium, West Potomac High School, 6500 Quander Rd., Alexandria, VA 22307.
Songs include hits sung by Billy Joel, Madonna, Michael Jackson, Lionel Richie, Robert Palmer, Aerosmith, Queen, Paula Abdul, Kim Wilde, Olivia Newton-John, Joan Jett, Janet Jackson, The Romantics, and others.
