Patch: Tell us a bit about your business:
Chris Savage: True Honey Teas has created unique and delicately sweet all natural honey infused herbal and traditional teas. Crafted with carefully sourced botanicals from around the world we have unique blends that create a wide range aromas and tea experiences. We are a family owned business and create all our teas in the USA.
Patch: How long have you been doing business in town?
Chris Savage: True Honey Teas has been creating their blends for 13 years in the Northern Virginia area.
Patch: What attracted you to the line of work you’re in, and how did you get started?
Chris Savage: As a tea enthusiast and engineer by trade, I began blending honey granules with my favorite tea ingredients and saw how the natural honey granules created a delicate sweetness that brought out the tea blends. From there I began experimenting with botanicals from around the world and created blends that everyone I shared them with enjoyed. True Honey Teas was born.
Patch: What's the most common piece of advice you give to customers?
Chris Savage: Sample our teas and you will be a customer for life.
Patch: What’s the most satisfying part of your job?
Chris Savage: Watching the reaction of our customers as they sample our teas and experience this unique tea experience.
Patch: How would you say your business distinguishes itself from the others?
Chris Savage: We source only the highest quality of teas directly from farmers around the world. We strive for not only taste but the natural health benefits from our ingredients.
