Man Assaulted, Robbed Saturday Night in Lorton: Police
Two suspects knocked the victim to the ground, rummaged through his pockets and fled with cash, police said.

Fairfax County Police report a man was assaulted and robbed late Saturday night in Lorton.
The incident took place at Lorton Road and Richmond Highway Saturday just before 11 p.m. A 25-year-old man was walking away from the 7-Eleven near Lorton Road when he was approached from behind by two men, police said. The men knocked the victim to the ground, rummaged through his pockets and fled with an unknown amount of cash, police said.
The victim self-reported to a local hospital for minor injuries.

Police said the suspects were described as black and in their mid-20s. One was 5 feet 7 to 5 feet 9 inches tall and 130 to 150 pounds. He had black, shoulder-length dreadlocks. He was wearing a gray, hooded sweatshirt, black pants and blue sneakers.
The second suspect was 5 feet 11 inches to 6 feet one inch tall and 150 to 170 pounds. He had short, wavy black hair. He was wearing a black jacket, black pants and blue sneakers.
