Masked Man, Woman Rob, Assault Pedestrian Near Gunston Plaza: Police

Fairfax County Police say that a man and woman wearing masks robbed and assaulted a pedestrian in Lorton Thursday night.

The robbery took place in the 9400 block of Richmond Highway, near Gunston Plaza, police said. The victim was walking along the path of Richmond Highway and was approached by two individuals, according to FCPD.

The suspects assaulted the victim, took cash and property and fled, according to police. The victim did not require medical attention.

The suspects were described as one male and one female, according to police. The female suspect was approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall and about 220 pounds, police said. The male was approximately 6 feet 4 inches tall with a thin build, according to police. Both suspects were wearing masks and dark clothing.
