Metropolitan School Of The Arts To Perform Sleep Beauty Ballet
Local Performing Arts Academy to Dance at George Washington Masonic Theater in Alexandria, Va.

Metropolitan School of the Arts (MSA) of Alexandria Va. youth ballet is performing Sleeping Beauty on Sun., May 1 at 6 p.m. at The George Washington Masonic National Memorial Theatre in Alexandria, Va., at 101 Callahan Drive. Tickets are $12 per person. Go to www.metropolitanarts.org to purchase.
MSA’s youth ballet, with leads Seemka Ogunfiditimi, MSA 10th grader of Alexandria, Va. and Elpida Voryas, MSA 9th grader of Alexandria, Va., shine in the ballet-rendition of the classic fairy tale, Sleeping Beauty. Ticket sales helps support MSA’s Black Box Theatre project, a 200-seat performing arts theatre to be built in the heart of Kingstowne in Alexandria, Va., providing local performing arts venue for students and local shows. Ogunfiditimi will be attending a summer program at the San Francisco Ballet, while Voryas will join the Boston Ballet summer intensive program.
