Northern Virginia Weather: Sunshine Ready For a Breakthrough
After a cloudy Wednesday night with a slight chance of rain, according to the National Weather Service, Thursday offers sun with mid 40s.

STERLING, VA — A so-so Wednesday turns into mostly cloudy skies tonight with a 20 percent chance of rain, according to the area arm of the National Weather Service.
Thursday, however, is expected to get sunny in a hurry, with the downside being highs south of 45 degrees and occasional wind gusts of up to 29 mph.
Clouds return Thursday night and are expected to hang around until Saturday.
