Police Report Sex Offense Thursday in Lorton

Fairfax County Police say that a sex offense took place in Lorton on Thursday.

The incident involved a man inappropriately touching a woman, according to police. The incident took place at about 10:45 a.m. Thursday near the intersection of Silverdale Road and Kenosha Court in Lorton, police said.

A woman was walking when an unknown man approached and inappropriately touched her, according to FCPD. The man fled and the victim did not require any medical attention, according to police.

Police did not provide a description of the suspect.
