Potomac Nationals Drop Third Straight

Defensive lets down in the seventh

Whereas on Monday the Potomac Nationals (18-26) were let down by their offense, in their 4-3 loss to Kinston last night in Woodbridge it was the defense that failed them. Two P-Nat errors led to three runs in the seventh inning, which proved to be too much to overcome. Daniel Rosenbaum was the hard-luck loser.

Steven Souza continued to swing a hot bat for Potomac with his ninth homerun of the year.

The P-Nats will try to snap their three-game losing streak in the last game of the series tonight with Kinston. First pitch is at 7:05.
