Sketch Released of Sexual Assault Suspect
Police detectives canvass neighborhood Friday where incident reported.

LORTON, VA -- The Fairfax County police have released a sketch of the suspect in a daylight sexual assault reported last week near the Richmond Highway (Route 1).
In addition, detectives with the Police Department's Major Crimes Division canvassed the neighborhood Friday where the incident occurred, according to a police spokesman. The assault of the female victim occurred at about 5 p.m. June 3 in the 9500 block of Saluda Court, near the path to a bridge, the police said.
The site is near Pohick Creek and Route 1.

The suspect is described by police as possibly a Hispanic male, between 28 to 30 years old. He is about 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a medium build.
The suspect is described as having short black hair, and was also observed wearing light blue jeans, a white T-shirt with a design or writing on the front, and black shoes.
