Photo Gallery: South County Crew Performs Well at States

On Saturday, South County Crew participated in the Virginia Scholastic Rowing Association Championships at Sandy Run Regional Park.

Here is how the teams fared:

Junior Boys' Eight finished fourth in their heat with a time of 5:12.3.

Junior Girls’ Eight finished fourth overall with a time of 5:32.1.

Junior Boys' Four finished third overall with a time of 5:15.9.

Junior Girls’ Four finished fourth in their heat with a time of 6:45.9 .

Lightweight Boys' Four finished second overall with a time of 5:19.3.

Boys’ First Four finished third in their heat with a time of 5:10.2

Girls’ First Four finished third in their heat with a time of 5:48.8

Petite Boys' Four finished fourth in their heat with a time of 5:22.4.

Petite Girls' Four was the top finisher of the South County contingent, winning their classification with a time of 5:48.1.

The Petite Girls’ Four, Junior Girls’ Eight, Junior Boys’ Four and the Lightweight Boys’ Four earned bids to the Scholastic Rowing Association of America National Championship Regatta, held on Memorial Day weekend in Camden, N.J.
