Springfield Town Center Sets Opening Date
Fairfax County Lee District Supervisor Jeff McKay welcomes media to tour new shopping center.

The new Springfield Town Center will open Friday, Oct. 17 in Springfield. The 1.3-million square foot shopping center will see many exciting retail brands new to the area, joining existing anchors Macy’s, Target and JCPenney.
Highlights include:
• Fashion brands—include TopShop (first Washington location), Michael
Kors, J. Crew, Victoria’s Secret, Sephora, H&M, Forever 21, Chico’s,
Pandora, White House|Black Market, LOFT, and more.
• Dining Collection—featuring Maggiano’s Little Italy, Yard House, Chuy’s,
Wood Ranch BBQ & Grill, and Nando’s Peri Peri, several of which are new
to the area.
• 12-Screen Regal Cinemas—with powered recliner seating and a cocktail
lounge.
• 41,000 sf, two level LA Fitness includes pool, sauna, basketball court,
spinning, aerobics, equipment, and classes.
• New Junior Anchors include Dick’s Sporting Goods and Nordstrom Rack
The design of the new shopping center features a new grand entrance, lined with restaurants and outdoor dining, a completely redesigned layout, new finishes and unique gathering spaces, including:
• An indoor/outdoor patio area with a two-sided fireplace and nano-walls that
allow for open air seating
• Family-focused amenities include dedicated children’s court with a library
of books, puzzles, and games designed with soft seating for storytime and
other events as well as a themed-children’s play area in the food court.
