Suspect Flees Lorton Home After He Sees Resident: Police

Fairfax County Police say an unknown man entered a Lorton home Thursday morning through an unlocked door. The suspect fled as soon as he saw someone in the residence, police said.

The incident took place in the 7800 block of Lewis Chapel Circle in Lorton (see map below) Thursday at about 8:20 a.m., according to police.

The man was described as black with a thin build, about 5 feet 9 inches tall, 20 to 30 years of age, wearing a tan jacket and blue jeans, police said.
