At Mason Neck State Park--Visitor Center
Ever wonder how there are so many parks and natural areas here on Mason Neck? Join us for our next guest speaker, Mr. Robert Hartwell. Rob is the son of Mrs. Elizabeth Hartwell, whose name you may have seen on a few signs entering the park. He will be telling the amazing story of how his mother, and the Mason Neck Conservation Committee, fought against plans that would have destroyed this beautiful land. You will be amazed at how much a few concerned citizens have done for this land and the Bald Eagles.
