Update: Lorton Area Robberies Remain Under Investigation

Tipsters who provide information to Crime Solvers are eligible for a cash reward of $100 to $1,000 if information leads to arrest/closure.

LORTON, VA -- Detectives are still seeking the public’s assistance reference a series of robberies that occurred in the area of Pohick Road and Richmond Highway between Tuesday, Sept. 1, and Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2015.

In each of the seven robberies, the suspect approached the victims on foot, displayed a handgun and demanded cash or property from the victim, and then fled.

The suspect was described as black, late teens to mid-20s, between 5 feet 6 inches and 6 feet tall, about 150 pounds, with a slim build, wearing a mask and all black clothing.
