Woman Robbed at Gunpoint While Parking Car in Lorton

Fairfax County Police say that a woman was parking her car Tuesday night in Lorton and was robbed at gunpoint.

Police say the incident took place Tuesday night at about 11:16 p.m. in the 7400 block of Lone Star Court in Lorton (see map below).

The victim was parking her car when a man approached her from behind, produced a handgun and demanded money, police said. The victim told the suspect that she had no money and he fled on foot.

He was described as being black, 20-25 years old, 5 feet 7 to 5 feet 8 inches tall, 140 to 150 pounds, wearing all black clothing, police said.
