LORTON, VA — Fairfax County Fire and Rescue personnel responded early Monday morning to the 10700 block of Old Colchester Road in Lorton for the report of a fire at the Lorton Yacht Club, according to authorities.

When units arrived on the scene, the club's boathouse was fully engulfed in flames, which had spread to the nearby brush, according to a 3 a.m. post on the department's official X account. No injuries were reported.
