• Madison eyesore sold: County couple purchase old 'General Store' and adjoining property (pjrnews.com) — A long-vacant "General Store" property on Washington Street in the Town of Madison has been sold to county residents Robert and Rachel Miller, who plan a major transformation. They envision a hospitality hub with a coffee and biscuit café, high-end butcher and deli, two restaurant concepts, patio and Blue Ridge views, dessert house, and year-round fire pit, pending town planning approvals.
