MANASSAS, VA – Prince William County police are looking for a man accused of illegally filming a woman using a public bathroom in a Manassas hotel.

According to the Prince William County Police Department, an 18-year-old woman using a bathroom at the Tempo By Hilton Hotel on Discovery Boulevard in Manassas on Monday evening reported seeing a phone appear under the stall she was using.

Police said the woman left the stall and confronted an unknown man who was in the women's bathroom. The man reportedly left the bathroom and left the hotel by a side door, but not before the victim took a picture of him.

The incident occurred around 7:38 p.m. on Aug. 10.

Prince William County police also responded to the hotel on July 28 when a man was said to be hanging around the women's restroom area. Officers responded to that incident but didn't find the suspect. No filming was reported during that incident, but police say they believe it is the same man.

The suspect is described as a Black man in his late teens to early 20s. He is approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighs between 180 and 200 pounds, with short black hair and a clean-shaven face. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt with blue and yellow graphics, khaki shorts, black ankle socks, and gray and white Nike shoes.

Anyone with information about either incident is asked to contact the Prince William County Police Department tipline at (703) 792-7000 or submit a tip online.
