MANASSAS, VA — A husband-and-wife team with years of experience in the donut business has opened a shop of their own in Manassas.
Kannika Noun and Veasna Young are behind Yum Yum Donuts, which began its soft launch on Sept. 17 at 8780 Centreville Road, Suite 101.
The independent shop serves freshly made donuts along with boba teas, sandwiches and coffee.
The couple previously helped operate a donut shop in Arizona, according to Prince William Living.
Following its soft launch, Yum Yum Donuts had a grand opening on Sept. 24 and is running a promotion through Wednesday, giving customers either a free donut or free cup of coffee.
The new business is active on social media, and comments have been positive and congratulatory.
The City of Manassas will also welcome the business with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, Oct. 15, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Yum Yum Donuts is open seven days a week from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m.
