Summer Is Arriving in McLean – And We're Ready for It at MSTA

Have you noticed it feels like summer showed up almost overnight?

After a cool and rainy spring, the last couple of weeks have brought warmer temperatures, longer evenings, and that unmistakable feeling that summer break is right around the corner. With Fairfax County schools preparing to let out for the year, many local families are now making plans for camps, activities, and how they'll spend those long summer days.

At the McLean Swim & Tennis Association (MSTA), we're excited to welcome both returning and new families for the 2026 season.

One thing many people don't realize is that we currently have memberships available with no waiting list. Whether you're new to the area, looking for a neighborhood pool, or simply ready for a better summer experience, now is a great time to explore what MSTA has to offer.

MSTA is more than just a pool. We're a community. Families come together throughout the summer to swim, play tennis, participate in social events, and enjoy a relaxed neighborhood atmosphere that has been part of McLean for generations.

For children, summer means opportunities to stay active and make new friends. MSTA offers swim camps, tennis camps, and participation in the McLean Marlins swim team. Whether your child is interested in learning the fundamentals of swimming, improving their technique, or competing as part of a team, there are opportunities for swimmers of all ages and experience levels.

The McLean Marlins program includes both developmental and competitive opportunities, helping young swimmers build confidence, develop skills, and enjoy being part of a supportive team environment.

Parents often tell us that what starts as a summer activity quickly becomes one of the highlights of their family's year. From swim meets and camp friendships to relaxing weekends by the pool, MSTA becomes a place where lasting memories are made.
