McLEAN, VA — Artists have until Friday, July 31, to apply to participate in the 2026 McLean Artfest.
The juried outdoor fine arts festival will take place Sunday, Oct. 4, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at McLean Central Park. This will be the first year the festival is jointly produced by the McLean Community Center and McLean Project for the Arts.
Artists working in all fine art and fine craft media may apply. Those selected will be able to exhibit and sell their work during the festival.
“The arts are central to our mission of bringing people together, and we look forward to welcoming talented artists and thousands of visitors to McLean Central Park this October for a vibrant celebration of creativity and community,” McLean Community Center Executive Director Betsy May Salazar said in a statement.
McLean Artfest will feature original works in various media, along with live entertainment, interactive art activities and family programming.
Artists can apply through the McLean Artfest website. Questions about the application process may be directed to Jen Lillis at jlillis@mpaart.org.
