• Prince William County leaders to vote on ending automatic data center approvals (fox5dc.com) — Prince William County supervisors are weighing whether to end automatic approvals for new data centers, a change that could affect where large facilities are built near neighborhoods. A Nokesville resident joined many others at a public hearing urging the board to slow or halt data center growth and a proposed Dominion substation expansion near Vint Hill Road.
• Prince William supervisors vote down Dominion's Vint Hill gas-insulated switching station (insidenova.com) — Prince William supervisors unanimously rejected Dominion Energy's proposed Vint Hill gas‑insulated switching station after months of community pushback. Nokesville and nearby residents, including one who would have lived across from the site, argued the project threatened neighborhood character and environmental safety, while local lawmakers framed the vote as a win for greater Prince William communities like Nokesville, Bristow, and Gainesville.
