• Warner, Kaine Announce $4 Million to Support Veteran Suicide Prevention Efforts Across Virginia (senate.gov) — New federal funding will help expand veteran suicide prevention services that specifically include Norton among many Virginia communities. Senators Mark Warner and Tim Kaine announced more than $4.1 million for eight organizations that will connect veterans and families with mental health care, outreach, and crisis support. Local veterans can also directly access help anytime through the national Veterans Crisis Line.
