• Car Tax Payments Due Oct. 5 – What You Need to Know (fairfaxcounty.gov) — If you own a car in Oakton or elsewhere in Fairfax County, your personal property tax bill is due Thursday, Oct. 5, with convenient payment options online, by mail, phone, or in person. Oakton residents can even drop check payments in the Oakton Community Library book drop between Sept. 19 and Oct. 5, and some seniors or people with disabilities may qualify for tax relief.
