ALEXANDRIA, VA – Young Dixon is ready to take his sitting skills and polished house manners to a forever home!
The Animal Welfare League of Alexandria say this sweet and energetic two-year-old boy is looking for his family and hoping for one that can give him lots of attention and some outdoor adventures.
This handsome yellow brindle boy “is friendly and loves everyone he meets, and it has been reported that he is good with other dogs,” the AWLA says. “He is also on the record as having nice house manners.” The AWLA predicts training will be a breeze for this treat-motivated pup.
If you’re looking for a furry companion, visit Dixon down at the AWLA Animal Shelter. He’s one of eleven dogs currently listed as available for adoption.
To see him or any of the other dogs and cats waiting for their homes, contact the AWLA shelter or visit them at 4101 Eisenhower Avenue during adoption hours, from noon to 7 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday or noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
