ALEXANDRIA, VA – The ALX Craft Beer Festival is back this Saturday, with 8 local brewers joining Atlas at its Alexandria tap room
The event marks American Craft Beer Week, May 11 to 17. Visitors can try pours from Caboose Brewing Company, Dad Strength Brewing, DC Brau, Denizens Brewing Company, Lost Generation Brewing Company, Port City Brewing Company, Solace Brewing Company, The Veil Brewing Company and your hosts, Atlas Brew Works. There will also be pizza from Atlas's location partner, Andy’s Pizza Carlyle Crossing.
Atlas’ Bullpen Pilsner just won gold at the Brewers Association Beer World Cup, competing against more than 8,000 other brews. It’s far from the only Atlas beer to win an award, though. Several of the other vendors have earned some serious hardware themselves, including Best Small Brewer In America.
Tickets are available on Eventbrite and come in a variety of price points for whatever your beer and pizza appetite.
The event will run from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at 2429 Mandeville Lane. Visitors must be 21 to purchase a ticket; younger folks can attend, but with an older guardian.
