ALEXANDRIA, VA – A suspect in Thursday’s jewelry story smash-and-grab burglary attempt has been arrested, according to a new report.
ALX Now reports that a 23-year-old man was arrested just 30 minutes after someone wearing all black clothing and a mask smashed the front window of a jewelry store on the 600 block of King Street. The suspect ran from the scene on foot.
According to the outlet, the suspect ran into Christ Church at 118 N. Washington Street and was arrested in the church’s basement.
