ALEXANDRIA, VA – Alexandria’s adoptable pet of the week is energetic Mr. Seven.

The Animal Welfare League of Alexandria says, “Seven is a 2-year-old pup who suddenly finds himself in the market for a new home. He is a 66-pound active dog with a zest for life and a love of people.”

The AWLA says Seven has lived in a house with children and seems to get along with other dogs but should be introduced to any dogs before moving into a home. They report that Seven has plenty of energy for long walks and hikes, but he has pretty good house manners and can keep himself busy with a chew for a good long while.

Seven loves meeting new people! To see him or any of the other animals waiting for their homes, contact the AWLA shelter or visit them at 4101 Eisenhower Avenue during adoption hours, from noon to 7 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, or noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
