ALEXANDRIA, VA – Ginger is looking for a home where her sweet, delicate spirit can thrive.
The Animal Welfare League of Alexandria says Ginger is just over a year old and weighs 18 pounds. She can be shy at first, but once she feels safe, she's a snuggler.
"Ginger has a gentle spirit and a whole lot of love to give to the right family," the AWLA writes. "She gets along with calm, understanding humans who move at a gentle pace." Ginger is looking for a serene home and a patient family, and she's ready to give a lot of love to someone who will let her set the pace and get comfortable.
Ginger is at a foster home now. Contact the AWLA shelter to meet her. To visit the other animals waiting for their homes, stop by 4101 Eisenhower Avenue during adoption hours, from noon to 7 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, or noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
