Man Shot To Death In Front Of Alexandria Apartment Complex

ALEXANDRIA, VA – Alexandria police are investigating a homicide that took place Wednesday night at the city’s ParcView Apartments on Holmes Run Parkway, the department announced.

According to the Alexandria Police Department, officers responded to 5380 Holmes Run Parkway at about 11:15 p.m. Wednesday to investigate a report of gunfire. The department says they found an adult man with a gunshot wound. He was ultimately pronounced dead at the scene.

Holmes Run Parkway was shut down in both directions for some time while detectives investigated the scene.

ALX Now reports that two suspects were detained shortly after the shooting.
