Major Fire Displaces Residents In Jefferson Manor Neighborhood

ALEXANDRIA, VA – Fairfax County Fire and Rescue responded to a major house fire in on Dewey Drive Wednesday afternoon.

Fairfax fire authorities say they responded to the 5900 block of Dewey Drive just after 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday to find a single family home engulfed in flame from basement to attic.

According to the fire department, all occupants had left the home before they arrived. A video shows multiple trucks responding to the scene.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation, Fairfax Fire and Rescue says.
