ALEXANDRIA, VA – Young Coco is the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria's adoptable pet of the week.
The AWLA says, "Coco couldn't be sweeter! She is an adorable puppy who is playful and full of love."
Coco's love of people has made her a favorite around the shelter, they say. But she's also very social and confident with other dogs and has made quite a few friends as she waits for her forever family.
"She is curious, loves to explore, and needs plenty of time to run and play," the shelter says. "Coco would love someone who will take her for social time in the park, a day of exploration, or training time. As an almost two-year-old who weighs about 83 pounds, she would benefit from the consistency and direction that a young pup needs."

To meet Coco and the other adoptable animals waiting for their homes, contact the AWLA shelter or visit them at 4101 Eisenhower Avenue during adoption hours, from noon to 7 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, or noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
