ALEXANDRIA, VA – Couples wanting to be joined in horror-y matrimony will have another chance this year, as Alexandria brings back its "Halloweddings" for another year.
The city has announced that Halloween-themed weddings will be officiated by the city's clerk of the court once again at the Athenaeum in Old Town on Oct. 31 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Deputy clerks will be on hand and in costume at the event, the city says, and snacks, drinks and gift bags will be available.
Couples should register here for the spooky – or just costumed – nuptials. The ceremonies last 20 minutes and there's a $75 booking fee. And beware – the event sold out last year, ALX Now reports.
