King Street 'Complete Streets' Community Meeting Coming Up

City seeks input on design to enable safe access for all users, including pedestrians, bicyclists, motorists, transit riders.

The City’s Department of Transportation & Environmental Services (T&ES), Transportation Planning Division will hold a public meeting on an upcoming Complete Streets project along King Street between Radford Street and Janneys Lane (see map below) on Tuesday from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at T.C. Williams High School Rotunda located at 3300 King St.

The purpose of this meeting is to seek community input. The project will be implemented in conjunction with the resurfacing of the roadway. Complete Streets are streets that are designed and operated to enable safe access for all users, including pedestrians, bicyclists, motorists, and transit riders of all ages and abilities. Plan to attend this meeting if you would like to provide feedback, comments and/or concerns.
