β’ Portsmouth seeks artists for parking garage art project (fosters.com) β Portsmouth is inviting artists to propose public art for the High-Hanover parking garage, with up to $60,000 available for the winning concept. Proposals are due October 9, and an optional on-site walk-through is set for September 14. The project, funded through the city's Percent for Art Program, aims to bring more murals or other creative installations downtown.

After more than four decades reporting and anchoring at WAVY and WVEC, colleagues are praising her as a trusted voice whose work has deeply connected with local communities across the region.
