Radford City Police Department seeking information following two assault incidents (wsls.com) — Radford police are asking residents for information after two aggravated assaults were reported late Saturday night and early Sunday on the 1200 block of Fairfax Street. Officers responded twice to fights in progress and are now working to identify everyone involved, urging anyone who saw suspicious people, vehicles, or activity between 11 p.m. and 2 a.m. to contact Lt. E. Martin.

Jones, Sandra Thompson (nrvnews.com) — Family and friends in Radford are mourning Sandra Leona Thompson Jones, whose granddaughter and great-grandson live here while she spent her later years in Christiansburg.
