We've listed the violations from inspections at local restaurants -- including a staggering 14 violations at Flippin Pizza in Reston -- from Aug. 24-25, the most recent dates available.

Critical violation: Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Upon discussion with the person-in-charge, one or more of the elements of an effective employee health policy is either missing or incomplete. A complete employee health policy is required to be in place at the food establishment. At the time of this inspection, the Health Department provided and reviewed handouts and resource information in a red folder labeled "Employee Health Policy."
Critical violation: Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Observed food employee washing and drying gloved hands without soap.

Critical violation: Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): The following food items were observed cold holding at improper temperatures using a calibrated food temperature measuring device: chicken in 1DR prep cooler 50F.
Critical violation: Observation: Observed chipped and cracked lids and containers in the dry storage area and walk-in cooler.
Non-critical violation: Observation: The following food items were observed without a label: salt.
Non-critical violation: Observation: Wet wiping cloths used for wiping counters and other equipment surfaces were observed stored on the counter by the pizza prep cooler and prep table by hand sink.
Non-critical violation: Observation: There is no test kit located in the facility for monitoring the concentration of the chemical sanitizing solutions.
Non-critical violation: Observation: The following refrigeration unit is not operating properly and is unable to maintain cold food at or below 41°F: 1DR prep cooler at 50F.
Non-critical violation: Observation: The door gaskets of the following unit(s) are (missing, damaged): 3DR pizza prep cooler.
Non-critical violation: Observation: Openings to the exterior of the building are present along the bottom of the back door.
Non-critical violation: Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Observed that hand soap was not provided at the front hand sink.
Non-critical violation: Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Observed that paper towels were not provided at the hand sink nearest to the 3-vat sink.
Non-critical violation: Observation: Observed that the 3-vat sink is in need of repair and becoming detached from wall. Re-attach and seal/caulk sink to wall. Wall by mop sink is cracked and gaps exist between wall and base board. Seal open areas.
Non-critical violation: Observation: Observed that mops are improperly stored in the mop sink.

Critical violation: Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Raw animal food preparation conducted in a manner that may cause cross contamination of ready-to-eat food as follows: OBSERVED EMPLOYEE TOUCHING COOKED BURGERS WITH SAME BLUE GLOVES SHE USED TO TAKE RAW BURGERS FROM THE REFRIGERATOR AND PLACE THEM ON THE GRILL FOR COOKING.
Critical violation: Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Observed raw shell eggs stored at room temperature. OBSERVED A TRAY OF RAW SHELL EGGS PLACED ON COUNTER NEXT TO THE GRILL AT ROOM TEMPERATURE WHICH WAS APPROXIMATELY 78-80 F.

Non-critical violation: Observation (REPEAT) (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Observed medicine stored in the 2DR FT cooler and among the cans in the dry storage area.
