2 Herndon Men Kidnap Woman, Take Her to Reston: Police

RESTON, VA — Two Herndon men assaulted a woman and then forced her inside a vehicle in Sterling, which they drove to Reston, according to a report from the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

Police arrested 39-year-old Alex J. Munguia and 45-year-old Marlen Almendarez-Juarez, both of Herndon, on charges of kidnapping by force. Munguia also faces a charge of assault.

Munguia is the woman's estranged husband, the report states. Almendarez-Juarez is accused of driving the vehicle.

Both men are at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center, where they are being held without bond.
