2 Men Attacked by 'Large Group of People' in Reston: Police

Police are still looking for suspects in the weekend incident.

RESTON, VA — Two men were attacked by a mob for unknown reasons near Reston National Golf Course over the weekend, and police are trying to track down the suspects.

Police say the men were walking near South Lakes Park at around 4:45 p.m. on Oct. 9 in the 11800 block of South Lakes Drive when "they were assaulted by a large group of people," according to a report from the Fairfax County Police Department.

"Police responded and the suspects fled the area," the report states. "Both victims received non-life-threatening injuries."
