2 Reston Residents Were Rescued Early Thursday From A Burning Apartment Building
Fairfax firefighters used a ladder to rescue two people from the top floor of a burning apartment building Thursday in Reston.

RESTON, VA — Fairfax County firefighters used a ladder to rescue two residents from the top floor of a burning apartment building in Reston early Thursday morning, according to a post on the Fairfax County Fire & Rescue's official Twitter account.
Units responded around 1:18 a.m. for the report of a fire in the 2300 block of Freetown Court in Reston. Using a ground ladder, fire personnel helped two people escape from the top floor of the burning building in the Stonegate Village Apartment complex.
One of the victims was transported to a nearby hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. No fire personnel were reported injured.
