2 Reston Men Arrested After Short Vehicle Chase: Police Report
Two Reston men are facing multiple charges, including eluding police, after driving away from a traffic stop in the Herndon area.

RESTON, VA — Fairfax County Police arrested two Reston men following a short vehicle pursuit in the Herndon area of the county, according to the weekly crime report.
An FCPD officer attempted to stop a 2007 Ford Focus around 5:12 p.m., on Jan. 23, for a traffic violation on Grove Street at Herndon Parkway. At first, the driver pulled over but he then drove away, initiating a pursuit. Eventually, the driver, identified as 20-year-old Chris Kpadeh of Reston, stopped his and was taken into custody. Police charged him with reckless driving, speeding to elude, and driving on a suspended license.
FCPD also arrested 21-year-old Mohamed Abdalla, who was a passenger in the vehicle. Police charged Abdalla with two counts of possession of a concealed weapon and possessing a magazine for a firearm with the capacity of 20+ rounds.

On the same night, around 5:59 p.m., a homeowner in the 10000 block of Beach Mill Road reported hearing gunshots outside and then seeing a car drive away. Officers responded to the scene and found multiple shell casings in the road. No injuries were reported.
