Patch Recognizes Academic Achievements Of 2 Reston College Students
Two college students from Reston distinguished themselves academically at their respective schools.
RESTON, VA — With the Thanksgiving break behind them, many college students from Reston are back at campus finishing up their Fall semester classes and preparing for finals.
While some students are aiming for academic honors this fall, others have already been recognized for their achievements. Here are some of the college students from Reston who have achieved academic accolades at their schools:
Allison Kinney of Reston recently received the Michael Wagenheim Memorial Scholarship for 2021-2022 “in recognition of her exceptional performance as an English major" at the University of Virginia.

Brennan Conley of Reston was recently initiated into the Pace University Circle of Omicron Delta Kappa, the National Leadership Honor Society. Conley was one of the 350 new initiates from 17 universities welcomed into the society during October. The society chooses initiates from among the top 35 percent of their class, who embrace ODK ideals and demonstrate leadership experience.
